That's an easy one. Do you want to save time? We will summarise it in one statement. "More retail beef per unit of feed eaten." You can read all of the linked articles listed on the left (at least read the history of Limousin and the CRC Results) but they will all tell you the same thing. Nothing beats Limousin for practical feed efficiency. On top of that, limos are tough survival beasts that have proven that they can adapt to almost any environment and thrive. Their libido and moderate mature size ensures all the hard work gets done during dry seasons. Plus the calves come easy, will put on more weight, finish at sensible carcass weights and are more marketable in both good and bad times. Why Talana Limousins?
