The donor battery is the pointy end of the herd: the engine room.
Our very best females are given the opportunity to prove their worth by
breeding for us large lines of siblings.
The donors true merit is judged according to the consistency and
quality of the groups. Every seedstock producer realises that to
breed consistently, a female must have several generations of great cattle
behind them, and that large variations in type in the ancestry only
dilutes predictability and consistency.
Improvements in type are best made in small steps over a
number of generations. In this way, great bloodlines are realised,
and great breeders are made.
Our next generation of donors have up to 6 known generations of
great females behind them (that's just of the dams side, not to mention
the sire side). Ancestors of similar body type, scale and mobility.
The future certainly looks bright.
